Liat Elbling born in 1980
lives and works in Tel Aviv.
In 2009 graduated with Honors from the Department of Photography at the Minshar School of Art in Tel Aviv. In recent years her work has been shown in several exhibitions in spaces such as the Haifa Museum of Art (2012), Ramat Gan Museum for Israeli Art (2011), Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Gallery (2011), Tel-Hai Photography Museum (2009). In 2011 Elbling exhibited at Tel Aviv Museum of Art after winning the Leon Constantiner Prize for Israeli Photographer and In 2013 was awarded Sotheby's Under The Hammer Prize at Fresh Paint - the Israeli art fair.
Elbling is currently studying in the Fellows Program at "Alma – Home for Jewish Culture" with full scholarship, as well as lecturing at the Department of Photography at Musrara School of Photography and at the Department of Multidisciplinary Art Shenkar College.
In addition to her personal work, from 2010-2013 she has been a part of a nonprofit collective called "Alfred Gallery," which strives to encourage young artists and serve as a vibrant place for art in Tel Aviv. This year I have been chosen to be a member of the Professional Visual Artists Association, Israel.
