Peleg Dishon


Peleg Dishon born in 1979. Israel
lives and works in Tel Aviv.

Dishon is an emerging multi-media artist, with an emphasis on art as a projection of mental procedures. His artistic work explores states of mind through looking at analog systems, digital conventions, games and user experience methods. It's simultaneously touching different artistic mediums: traditional paper cutting, cinematic portrayal, stage sets and architecture. Graduated with honors from HaMidrasha School of Art, Beit Berl (2009), Dishon has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout Israel and abroad including solo exhibitions in Circle 1 Gallery, Berlin (2014) and the Petach Tiqva Art Museum (2012). Dishon works and live in Tel Aviv, In the short time since his graduation he has been the recipient of several awards among them the Miron Sima Prize for 2013, awarded to him "for his brilliance in combining an array of materials, techniques and ideas, and for breaking boundaries between various artistic media, with which he express a contemporary, up-to-date, profound and personal worldview."
