Tsahi Hacmon

Born in 1981, Tsahi Hacmon lives and works in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Bezalel Academy of Art and Design graduate and an exchange student at the Slade School of Fine Arts, London, he participated in the International Artists Residency at the National Art Studio in Seoul under 2014 Unesco Aschberg Scholarship. Hacmon is interested in the tensions between human and inhuman, the anonymous and the intimate, the visible and the invisible, omnipresent in the contemporary cityscapes. Combining industrial materials and found objects, he incorporates these tensions into a falsified environment to invite viewers to push the boundaries between familiar and unfamiliar.
