The source material for the 162 x 228 cm large drawing ‘525 pieces of dirt’ was an online footage image depicting an Israeli settler excavating a hole in order to build an illegal hut on Palestinian territory. The depicted soil flying through the air was blown up in size from the digital pixel raster and drawn by hand by the artist.
